Teréz Koncz is a London based Hungarian film director.
She graduated from the Film and Television Director faculty (Class of Ildiko Enyedi) with a Diploma with Master Degree from the University of Theatre and Film, Arts Hungary, in 2014.
She’s directed four student short films, including the Longborough Sirius Film Festival Best Shorts winner ‘Women’ and her degree project ‘Mary-Ann’s Engagement’ which has been officially selected for Trenton Film Festival, 2014 and International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts (Shorts and Micro Cinema) Los Angeles, 2014.
Between March 2012 and November 2014 she worked as VFX Production Assistant then Coordinator and On-Set Coordinator in Hollywood blockbusters such as Fast and Furious 6, Godzilla, Hercules and Guardians of the Galaxy for three years at post production companies Double Negative and MPC, London.
Since 2015 she is co-founder, co-director and producer at Stellar Circus Ltd, a London based commercials production startup. She works as a freelance Assistant Director as well.
Her first independent short ‘The Letters’, funded by the National Media and Info- communications Authority, Hungary, recently started its festival run by winning ‘Best Suspense’ at AltFF Film Festival, Toronto.
